Cold Atmospheric Plasma (CAP) therapy is an advanced, non-surgical treatment that safely tightens, rejuvenates, and restores the skin. Using a precise plasma pen, our specialists create tiny, controlled marks on the skin’s surface. These micro-injuries stimulate the body’s natural healing response, encouraging collagen production, improving elasticity, and reducing excess or loose skin. The result is firmer, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin—without invasive surgery or lengthy downtime.

CAP therapy offers several medically recognized benefits. It has antibacterial properties, helping to reduce harmful bacteria that contribute to acne or wound infections. It also promotes wound healing by stimulating cell growth and tissue repair. Importantly, CAP has been shown to increase collagen production, which softens fine lines and wrinkles, while its anti-inflammatory effects may relieve symptoms of conditions like eczema or psoriasis. Research is ongoing, but CAP shows promise in treating acne, pigmentation, scarring, fungal infections, and even hair loss.

Treatment areas include the eyelids, under-eyes, crow’s feet, neck, tummy, arms, and areas of loose skin or scarring. It can also help with skin tags, small tattoos, psoriasis, eczema, and post-steroid withdrawal skin recovery (TSW newsletter). Sessions last 1–2.5 hours, with minor swelling resolving in 2–7 days and surface marks fading within 5–9 days. Most patients see visible tightening and radiance soon after treatment.

Not everyone is suitable for CAP. It is not recommended for those with very dark skin (due to pigmentation risks), pregnant or breastfeeding women, or individuals with certain medical conditions such as pacemakers, metal implants, uncontrolled blood pressure, immune system disorders, or a history of keloid scarring.

To prepare, avoid tanning, sun exposure, facial acids, Botox, or fillers in the weeks before and after treatment. Following these guidelines ensures a safe, effective, and transformative skincare experience.
